Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, Oman

Our Opinion
We will be updating these web pages in the coming weeks and months as we receive up-to-date images and details from the resort. Please contact us with any questions.
Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar is perched on a canyon edge in the Al Hajar Mountains, 2,000 metres above sea level among the rocky contours of the Saiq Plateau. It is the highest five star resort in the Middle East and among the highest in the world.

The resort is a two hour drive from Muscat International Airport or a four and a half hour drive from Dubai International Airport. As well as the stunning mountain and valley scenery, the resort offers a gateway to explore Oman's ancient forts, remote agricultural villages and souk markets and is only a 30 minute drive away from the ancient former capital city, Nizwa.

The accommodation blends true Arabian luxury with Anantara's signature touches, offering 115 rooms with either canyon, cliff or garden views.

The dining experience is designed to inspire, with exotic Arabic dishes, speciality teas, flavoured shisha, Italian dishes and Asian Cuisine available at the various restaurants and bars. The resort also features Oman's only Fort restaurant.

Facilities include an infinity pool, fitness centre, library, yoga, archery, tennis, star-gazing, cinema under the stars, a cooking school, shops, teens' club and kids' club. In addition, local excursions such as hikes, nature walks, mountain biking, driving tours and fort tours can be arranged from resort.
