Our Opinion

Situated only 18 km from the airport and the historical capital of Muscat – 15 minutes by taxi, the Grand Hyatt with its sheer elegance and superb facilities is spread over ten acres on the sandy beach of Shatti Al Qurm, the Embassy district of Muscat.

All 280 rooms are elegantly finished and from the time you enter the lobby you experience the convivial ambience and timeless beauty of the hotel. You have one foot in the past but the other stands firmly in the present.

Grand Hyatt is ideal for couples seeking comfort and personalized service in an elegant setting with the feel of times past. The lobby is designed and decorated like an oasis and there is a dome in the high ceiling that moves from day to night.

Grand Hyatt offers 280 mostly sea-facing rooms (of which 68 are interconnecting) and direct access to the beach, as well as an array of restaurants and bars to choose from. There are nine guest elevators including a private elevator to three of the Crown Suites.
